This involved careful information collation, meticulous budgeting and management of hotel allocations, pastoral care to look after production and company team members. Alongside this, I gained insight into decision-making and the collaboration between co-producers and international presenters. A tale of two fools who dare to love in a world obsessed with their sadness. Torn between New York, London and Palestine, the only place they truly feel at home is inside of their shared madness. It is not a story about the occupation; it is a story about two people who, like all of us, are trying to find someone to come home to. It treats Palestinian life with humour, complication and grace, focusing not on news headlines but on the human experience of love, fear and longing. Lead artist Marena Riyad brings a rare comic voice on exile, belonging and the absurdity of modern love. This is a new writing piece with a mix of stand up and theatre, and a bold artistic voice that refuses the lens of victimhood. A Palestinian Love Story was presented at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2026 with support from Pleasance and Amos Trust. I was asked to step in as Producer at the last minute. I strategically identified and secured coverage journalists interested in Arab culture, global matters, and secured reviews from Fresh Fringe, Fringe Review. My areas of focus included venue liaison and negotiation, securing press and marketing coverage. Sound Strokes offers distinctive fusion of different musical instruments and art forms, it has received raving reviews - 'From the methodical interplay of Chinese and Scottish women’s working songs to the expressive combination of sounds that wash over you, Sound Strokes is a midday shot of calm energy that pushes you to slow down and reflect'.
